Statement of Purpose
The goal of the Standards and Codes Academy is to integrate the practical experience of subject matter experts within the context of best practices, existing codes, and academic content. Attendees of the academy will gain new insights on regulatory code enforcement, and all other aspects of building, property, and development services.

To create high quality training sessions that provide code officials, inspectors, permit technicians, building officials and other regulatory service providers with quality, relevant educational opportunities.

To provide code officials with facilitators and trainers who are certified in their area of expertise, who are skilled practitioners and who view their responsibilities as a labor of love.

To acknowledge that local government and other code enforcement service providers have a duty to ensure their staff is professionally trained.

To expand the teaching of code enforcement theory and related subjects to include not only information but also values and good judgement.

We offer full class scheduling and coordination for code, building or regulatory conferences, and/or full or half day courses.
